Audits
After performing appropriate fieldwork, usually at your office, we provide an opinion about the fairness of financial statement presentation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or other comprehensive basis of accounting.  We also provide Single Audit services for entities with major federal programs.

Reviews
By performing analytical procedures and inquiries of management, we express "limited assurance" about financial statements, whether or not the financial statements need material modification to be in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles or other basis of accounting.  An opinion is not expressed, as in an audit.

Compilations
Financial statements are created based on information that is the representation of management.  No assurance is expressed on these financial statements.  Management may elect to omit substantially all disclosures.  Common financial statement bases of accounting used for compilations include accrual basis, cash basis and income tax basis.

Fraud Prevention and Investigation Services (Forensic Accounting)
Is an employee stealing from you?  Are profits lower than expected with no apparent reason?  Fraud happens.  We investigate alleged fraudulent activities and assess current risk.  Through our procedures, we can make an estimate of damages incurred and make recommendations to prevent fraud from reoccurring.

Internal Control Evaluation
Are your internal controls sufficient to prevent fraud?  This can be determined by evaluating the five components of internal controls: 1) the control environment, 2) assessment of risk, 3) control activities, 4) information processing, and 5) monitoring.  We provide education and guidance on maintaining an adequate system to safeguard your assets.  This process can include flowcharting the system for an easier-to-understand picture of procedures.
